VCON 3
Dates: February 22nd-24th, 1974 Vancouver's third convention (which was actually the first to be called "VCON") featured participation by the Society for Creative Anachronism, whose members performed mediaeval dances (and who would continue to give demonstrations and hold tournaments at VCONs over the years.) There was also a Clarion workshop demonstration, as well as panels on a wide range of topics, including "Fascism in SF," and a talk by Mason Harris titled "Fear of Sex and Foreign Races in the Fantasy of H.P. Lovecraft."
