VCON moved to the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown for what we hope will be the first year in a long run, so that people will know where to find VCON, instead of having it move around from hotel to hotel.

Bob Vaughn donated a trophy to be awarded to the "Best in Show" entry in the costume contest. The first-ever winner of the trophy was "The Snow Queen", as portrayed by Dana Teh, of Elemental Illusions, a dealer offering hand-made leather masks.
