After years of being "out of town" in Richmond, Surrey, and then in Burnaby, VCON returned to Vancouver for VCON 27. It almost didn't make it, being originally scheduled for a hotel in Surrey that eventually proved to be too problematical. In the end, however, booking an in-town hotel proved to be a real challenge.
