  1. Call to Order: 2:10 p.m.
  2. Reading of the Minutes:
      Deferred (the Secretary had not yet arrived with copies of the Minutes)
  3. VCON28 Status Report:
      See attached PDF file.
  4. Setting the Time/Date/Location for WCSFA Annual General Meeting:
      (Recommended that it be held at the VCON28 convention, Sunday October 12th, 2003 in the pm – Clint Budd.)
      MOTION by Paul Carpentier/seconded by Lorna Appleby:
      That WCSFA AGM be held at the VCON28 Convention, Sunday pm, and that the final time and location of the Meeting be left to Palle Hoffstein (Programming) to announce.

  5. Nominations for WCSFA Executive/Board of Directors:
      Preliminary nominations for the positions on WCSFA
      Executive/Board of Directors:
      (There are 10 positions available on the Executive/Board of Directors. Since Secretary & Treasurer have been combined, there is one more Member-At-Large position than there was formerly. The Member-At-Large position is floating – duties are assigned as needed. Further opportunity for nominations will continue until close of nominations before the election.)
      For President: Palle Hoffstein (C. Budd nominated, P. Carpentier seconded)
      For Vice-President: Paul Carpentier (C. Budd nominated, L. Appleby seconded)
      For Secretary/Treasurer: Clint Budd (L. Appleby nominated, G. Cairns seconded)
      For Member-At-Large: Lorna Appleby (C. Budd nominated, Chilam seconded)
      For Member-At-Large: Marie Beesley (C. Budd nominated, G. Cairns seconded)
      For Member-At-Large: Andrew Brechin (L. Appleby nominated, P. Hoffstein seconded)
      For Member-At-Large: Ray Seredin (R. Seredin nominated, G. Cairns seconded)
      For Member-At-Large: Kathleen Moore-Freeman (D. MacGregor nominated, L. Appleby seconded)
      For Member-At-Large: Chilam (G. Cairns nominated, P. Hoffstein seconded)
