inventory status: Inventory of BCSFA stuff to be added to list or WCSFA items after V‑Con. Is the Job of WCSFA Vice‑President to keep track.

A number of motions passed to update policies and procedures. (Note: exact wording not in my notes but In list possessed by Donna. At this point, late in night, too late to call for exact wording. Consider the following as 'notification', exact wording to appear in subsequent issue.)

MOTION: In section 65 between 1st and 2nd paragraph insert paragraph to the effect that Anyone listed on the ConCom MUST be a WCSFA member.' Clint moved. Donna seconded. 5.40 argued that it would alienate people who refuse to join WCSFA, but want to be on the V‑Con committee. it was counter‑argued that people who refuse to pay the $5 Associate Membership fee to come under WCSFA's legal protection are a liability we can do without. 2 opposed, 10 in favour. Adopted.

MOTION: in section 9E replace Roman numerals with bullets. Mere houskeeping. 10 in favour. Adopted.

MOTION: To alter section on memberships for small children. It was felt that half‑price was all right for under twelve, but that where to draw the line for free membership deserves further study. Therefore the motion was to delete the words 'under 6 years old" in Appendix B:a. Donna moved. Steve seconded. Adopted.

MOTION: The second sentence in section 5 which reads in part 'to call an election withinweeks" should now read 'to call an election within 6 weeks." Al Betz moved. Lisa seconded, Adopted.

MOTION: To adopt a logo for WCSFA presented by Clint, consisting of two rockets blasting off under an umbrella labelled WCSFA. Amended to ensure one rocket be labelled V‑CON and the other BCSFA (to make the symbolism absolutely clear). Al Betz moved. 5.40 seconded. S in favour, I opposed, i abstention. Adopted. Pending redrawing by an artist.
